Yet another scam call from someone with my details. I asked how she'd got the details and she said "from a database". I asked which database and she said "her job was only to offer an extension to my washing machine guarantee". As I have no such thing anyway, it was easy to know it was a scam. This number rang with an automated message saying it was the bank and there had been unusual activity on the account with two large transactions!
The caller with a strong foreign accent (possibly Indian) stated he was calling from BT Openreach about potential problem with my internet connection. So I thanked him for calling and hung up, as it sounded like it might be an all too frequent scam call.

SCAM - Told them to take a number off the list as the person has a memory dissorder. Have called daily after that, telling it is the first time they call. Different numbers, but same person called back right after from this number. She called from RCN Investments and if that is true, that she called because the person wrote her number at THEIR webpage- then they have sold the number to several other companies, because the phone is calling several times a day after the day she register on a web-page.
SPAM will call regular going on about people selling you dodgy contracts which they will fix, ignore.
An automated voice said - You are wanted for unpaid taxes & if you you want to avoid possible jail time press, "1" on your keypad. This is H.M.R.C., (claim to be Tax Office). I didn't press 1, (scared it was a scam)! I'm going to phone them & hope to find out who they are.
