Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing - sometimes energy companies. Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs for just ringing you and left no message (other than scam...)? If this was a silent call for you, do not call back for any reason! They call over and over again to claim compensation for an accident until you ask them for the source of your details and threaten with the data protection commissioner.

They rang my mobile twice today. The area code that came up is my home area. I rang them back, as I wondered if it was someone I knew. No not a bit of it. They are on Merseyside which is a 4hours road trip at least from here. Apparently it depends when the 'phone signal comes from - yeh right. I told them not to ring me again and they said they wouldn't. We will see.
this number has been calling me several times per day for around 2 weeks, when I answered it was a telemarketing company telling me I had been involved in an accident (I haven t) when I responded with "well you know more about this than I do" the caller hung up and didn t call again so I will definitely be using that tactic in the future
