Couldn't hear him but tried to be friendly like we knew each other at first. When I stated my name was wrong (he had my maiden name) he started rambling about something to do with a software specification. Had answered by mistake. Now blocked.

Claims to be calling from the rewards department from an EE call centre in India. Was told I can not call back as their line is only outbound and no web to browse their offers or phones? I was a little suspicions as if they where from EE they would of known not to start selling until my contact was up for renewal in 8months time.
