They said they are from vodafone, I have asked them few questions to confirm if they really have access to my account and it s not legit, it s a scam people.
I never answer if a number is unknown to me and don't know the area code, I get so many calls from unknown numbers every day and if it was important they would leave a voice mail, they always hang up as voice mail kicks in, every time in the past I answered it was always telemarketing, number is now in my block box.

Caller was UPS, left a vm. they called to inform me/check if i had collected my package as it was delivered to the access point. unfortunately could really hear the lady in the vm she left.

This number has called me countless times in the last few days. When I answer all I hear is a click. On calling back I am told the number is not in use. I have blocked this number but it seems to override the block.
This number rang me this afternoon. It was obviously a recorded message. The message said that there was two unusual transactions on my bank account this morning, one for £300-00 and another for £3000-00. The womans voice on the phone message then asked if I wanted to query the transactions and to press button 1 to reject and button 2 to talk to someone. There was no mention of my name or my bank or account. Being aware early on in this call that it was a scam I put the phone down. So beware everyone!

Hardly spoke English, probably shipped in on the back of the lorry and working for £1 an hour. Caller shouted everything, "I sign you up, I sign you up!!" Very intimidating.
