Text from Lloyds bank quoting last 4 digits of account number asking me to ring the 0808 number. Contacted my bank and notified them. They confirmed it's a scam. Block it. I have.

This number called me today, my wife answered as I was out, the caller asked for me by name, my wife asked the caller who he was so she could pass on a message, the caller said, oh! I will catch him later and then hung up
Auxillis. Wanted me to prove who I was before they would say what they were calling about. Told them to write to me if it was important. I think they are effectively 'ambulance chasers' looking for trade after a traffic accident.
