Repeated missed calls with 1-2 second silent/static answering machine message. I am a Wesleyan customer AND my car insurance is due for renewal soon so I assume it is them electronically dialling me? Never any chance to answer and of course you can t tell who an answering machine message is from until you listen to it, so just an enormous waste of my time.

Called no message left. When I returned the call a real person answered alleging they were from HMRC. The call had very noisy background which sounded like a call centre. I immediately hung up the call.

No idea why they called me. I wouldn t offer my details to a random caller asking for them so they wouldn t say why they are calling. My advice is to challenge their claim who they are. Websites, letters and phone calls prove nothing. They ll soon go away if they re not getting anywhere.

Received a call this morning from the above number. Said that my pension was now due for review. Said they were the PENSIONS ADVICE BUREAU and confirmed my address and postcode. Said they were conducting reviews on UK pensions and that my pension was due for review. Seems strange as I have no pension nor is one then up for review. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. I have had a call from this number on my landline every day for the past two weeks. I do not pick up as I have caller display but it is quite annoying as it rings at all different times. There should be a way of stopping these calls.

I have the TruCaller App (Free version) it notifies you of scams, etc before you answer. I will be using this on my new phone, it s a great little App and instantly told me this was a PPI scam. I recommend this App to anyone, and I blocked this number straight away. All numbers TruCaller checks against a huge database of Blaclisted phone numbers.

Believe this number to be a scam. They called me with an automated message claiming to be amazon. It said that i was about to be charged for amazon prime (which i dont have), and if i dont want that to happen press 1. Obviously i didnt press 1 as that probably goes through to scammers.
