They failed to provide my full name, my address, or any information as to how they got my number other than 'from the government' It's a bit funny because they tried this last month as well off a different number when the government contacted their office to get in contact with me that morning too, they know nothing but your number and partial name

Claimed to be from BT Outreach, telling me that my internet was slow. She asked me to check my internet speed. I asked her how, and she then started asking about my device. At that point, I told her that I had not had breakfast yet, didn't have my glasses on, and that another time might be a better time. I was fairly polite. Of course I did not believe that she was from BT.

No bank name was given. apparently there were two transactions going through on my card, one for Amazon and another larger sum was an international money transfer. If the number is blocked some of these calls then get through on an unknown or withheld number. As our doctors and the hospital withhold their numbers and I have someone Ill in my household I just add annoying numbers to my directory under PITA ......aka pain in the a*** or telemarketers. I then have proof of the frequency of calls and I m aware it s them and don t answer the call. Sorry for long explanation but hopefully it might just help someone.
