rang on our landline but we have call screening, didn't announce who they were or leave a message so can't be anything important or anyone we know as known contacts are listed.

Daniel Bennett - Claiming to be from BT local business - saying our contract was expired, but we just renewed it, and said payment data but didnt line up with our bank statement at all. I was cautious. He didn't seem to mind I put the phone down so guessing it wasn't important I spoke to him!
Cold call offering to reduce my vodaphone payments but not from vodaphone itself apparently we’re supplied with number from who I could not ascertain when I refused to disclose my current payment and asked them to make me an offer they closed the call. Received a call from this number advising me that I had opened an account with them in 2015 and they had some info for me, I said that I was not interested, at this the caller got quite irate. Called to say from MBNA and that there was a problem with the account. Indian (asian) voice. Wife was very rude to him. Got quite rude when I told her I didn't believe her. Stalled her for 5 minutes before she hung up on me.
