SCAM called today at 13:39 -The automated message states: “This call is in regards to your National Insurance number. Ignoring this final warning may lead you to legal troubles. The reason behind this phone call is to inform you that your National Insurance number will be terminated due to some unethical financial transactions.” The recording then asks the recipient to “please press ‘1’ to get more details.” Which of course I did not
Can people calling this number send an email to [email protected] instead to explain why they are trying to call please? This is a private number but the holders are receiving a lot of calls from random people.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated - all the same range) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing. Did someone answer any number of this range? SPAM I answered cos I was expecting call from an unnknown number. The lady on the phone had old info about me as they thought I still lived at my dad's. The line cut briefly and I said I couldn't hear them and then they said "I hope you die in a f*ckin car crash" and kept repeating similar insults.
This number just called me and a robotic voice stated that there is a fraud charge registered by HMC under my name and if I do not answer the call I will get arrested shortly. This is not the behaviour of HMRC. Something needs to be done about these thieves.
