recieved som calls from this number... does anyone know to whom it belongs?

Woman phoned asking if I was Miss (my girlfriend s name) I m not the butchest of guys but I don t sound like a woman.... Very heavily accented Indian accent, also appalling sound quality with lots of noise in the background. When I asked who it was from, she mumbled something about PPI at which point I put the phone down.

i got a missed call of this number and when i tried to call back the number didnt exist. im trying to find a job which is why i tried to cal back in case it was an employer. really confusing.

I too received a call at a funeral at 1020 this morning about so-called PPI, when asked how they got a ex directory number, they were reluctant to answer their source. I informed them a complaint will be submitted for their harrassment, I have also sent a letter to the BBC Panorama. programme who are investigating companies under various names. Call from this number today about 4.40pm. No one on the other end spoke, just a lot of office type background noise.

Unsolicited call - didn t answer. These people should not be calling my mobile!

They ask you if you had any damage to your car, or accident, they keep me calling now once every month.I think it s a cold calling,If you answer yes then,they will try to trick you.

This 0147 or 0148 number calls two or three time per day starting at 7.30am. Should be stopped!

Rang me about a valid accident looking to take a statement - I declined as they did not know my real name or address. Seemed very dodgy and was given advice that I did not have to give a statement to anyone but the Police.
