Text claiming to be E.ON Next indicating that I’d maybe forgotten to pay my energy bill of nearly £1,500!! Odd because I’m on DD. And in credit. Definitely a scam.

It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. Do not know anyone in Northern Ireland, so blocked number. It does not help if "CALLED ME.CO.UK" spells NORTHERN wrongly. Is "called me.co.uk" a scam also. One thing to check is the spelling!

Called at 1210hrs. Male with office sounds in background. He spoke with an Indian sub-continent accent. Said his name was Simon and was calling to make me debt free. I asked him the time where he was. He asked "Why". I said if he did not answer the question I would hang up. I hung up.

Man pretending to be Vodafone. Trying to steal my personal and financial info. Impressive technique, didn’t spot at first then his lack of knowledge of my basic customer profile and more aggressive questioning showed what was really happening.

Someone speaking an Asian language called at 8am. When he realised I had answered he switched to English to tell me my broadband had been hacked. Asked the name of his firm - BT. Told him I would deal with it and hung up. Rang BT but the number was not theirs! how surprising. Number now blocked.

Fraud Scam. Vodafone support website has a page on which to verify that a number is calling from Vodafone. This is not a Vodafone number. Here's the information I could get from them before they hung up. The caller claimed to be from Vodafone promotional dept offering a new phone upgrade and 2 year contract. Caller was inconsistent in what they said. Once saying a verification email would arrive in 30 minutes then saying 1 hour. They switched for no reason between talking about iphone and Samsung phones.

SCAM claimed to be from my child needing contact urgently please call them a second different number to call but all my children were at home

Called to tell me that there is been over thousand pounds transaction on my account today, and I should ring in to stop the transaction if I have not authorized the transaction. I checked with my bank who have told me there's been no such transaction. Clearly a scam call.
