Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 17953802xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, accident claims, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

Recorded message in a poor quality computerised voice with an American accent claiming that I need a new IP address and router, as mine have been compromised by "several countries". I had a call from this number today claiming to be from the legal team at my insurance company LV about an accident id had in Dec where my car was written off. The man knew of my name, address, post code, the date of my crash, and he said that a company called ensure had made a payment to them to forward on to me, but I've never heard of them and never claimed for myself, just the cost of my veichle which was straight forward and all sorted weeks ago. As I grew suspicious and picked up on a few minor detail
