I am getting repeated HARRASSMENT calls this telephone no. is one of the Numbers that called me. I am getting between 3 to 5 calls a day .I have told them to knock me from their contact list. Could you help please this has been happening for at least 5 weeks.
Claimed to be from O2 and that I was overpaying for my O2 account (I don't use O2). Told me they would offer me a discount with no other changes to be made. Wanted to send a verification number that I was not to share with anyone else "even 02 staff". Hung up when they realised I wasn't falling for it - I strung them along for at least a few minutes.

They should know whose account the transactions were on Second warning sign - As far as I'm aware Visa don't contact people direct, your card issuer will contact you. So it would have been Lloyds, Halifax, barclaycard, etc

SCAM - caller claimed to be from British Gas wanting to book me in for a boiler service. She didn't ask for anyone here by name so I didn't engage, just ended the call & blocked the number. I rang British Gas using the genuine number from their website - they confirmed that no-one's called me today.

They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money. Man with Pakistani accent (no name given) said my computer is giving me trouble. It is, as it's refusing to boot up. He also said it is a laptop, correct again. Completely unnerved, I said that Action Fraud would be delighted to hear about it and then I rang off without giving any of my details. This has got me really, really worried. SCAM text claiming to be from a post office delivery man called Simon who had been unable to deliver with a link to a site for redirection. I knew it was fake but linked site appears very genuine/clone of a real one. Requests input of personal info. My response as always to block and report the number.
Contacted me pretending to be my child who had lost her phone, asked me to what’s app her on another number then asked me to pay some bills for her.
This number calls every day but doesn’t say anything when picked up.
Claims to be O2 offering a discount on my account.... as long as I confirm a code that they were going to send me from the network. V persuasive and persistent lady.....
