Silent call. Received a call from (07458 148209) on my mobile, although very few people know my mobile number. SCAM According to the area number its from the states. It rang on my landline & answer machine answered. They hung up & called again straight away. Again my answer machine answered. This time a lady voice with a foreign accent started saying hallo, hallo... Quite a few times before they hung up Don't know anybody in the states who has my number. Got to be a scam.

Called twice in two days, claimed to be named "Alice" the first time (unlikely, given her heavy Indian accent), claimed to be from BT Openreach. We use a VOIP system so I put the phone down. Second time, gave no name but claimed to be calling from "[y]our electricity provider". I asked her which one, she took a stab at EDF (wrong), so I told her to do her homework better and put the phone down again. I checked the phone number and it was the same both times 02031295

Phoned back several times., but got no reply. However, it turned out that my family member had been taken to hospital. He was on an emergency system at his home as he lives alone. Indian scammers claiming to be from Visa and wanted to have additional authorisation on some recent bank transfers. Checked with bank and no additional authorisations were required. Based on my experience......this is yet another scamming outfit

Does anybody recognise this, suspect, phone number, 02392379223, from which I received an automated call earlier this morning? The ‘female’ speaking voice, claimed to be from ‘AMAZON’, and wanted me to give, account, details. Needless to say , I hung up and did a ‘Who called me’ phone number search, which showed it was from the Portsmouth area, I wasn’t aware that AMAZON was based in the UK, let alone Portsmouth. All I can say is…….. BE WARNED!

Called to ask if we had anything broken in our house, or any mould - we live in Lancashire not London!
Call from call centre, poor call could not hear and persistent and unclear about reason for call - blocked now.
Cold call offering to reduce my vodaphone payments but not from vodaphone itself apparently we’re supplied with number from who I could not ascertain when I refused to disclose my current payment and asked them to make me an offer they closed the call. All quite polite but VERY annoying interruption!
