Said he was from an IT company that I had used recently, when I asked where he got my number from overrode my questions saying he had got it from a database and continued saying I had used one of there services recently. Told him my number was on TPF and he replied not interested and it didn t concern him what I was on. Very aggressive male caller refusing to listen. ended up telling him (very rudely) to go away and hung up
Well this is some landline from Manchester area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are two facts : people do search for this number which can be seen from different similar pages, and there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated, all the same 016176801xx) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Probably calling with different offers for different comapnies, but for sure some general call centre. People did someone answer it?

Two calls today from this number. Call goes to voicemail but no message left. Reading comments it states it s an AA number. Number blocked as I am not a member of this organisation.
Every 2 weeks they call me for months! Every time from a different Ipswich number. I block them and block them each time. But they always call me back even if asking to remove my details from their database. GDPR law... where is it standing!!? Told me they were calling as id applied for a loan which had been declined. I haven t applied for any loasns and she kept insisting I had but said she couldn t tell me where id applied due to confidentiality. In the process of buying a house and the only loan id applied for was a mortgage which is already in place so very disconcerting. When I tried to question her she tried to end the call. Clearly a scam.

SCAM, this was the second of 3 phone calls I got on a saturday morning, when i was still in bed, the first 2 before 9am, I have an answer machine and neither of the first 2 left messages, dont have call logging, so can only retrieve the last caller, which was this number, then around 9:54 the phone rang for a third time, I answered immediately, as I was actually holding the phone when it rang, said hello twice, no response, then they hung up that number was 01375405982.
