They called to say I had a minor accident in the last 2.5 years. When I asked what vehicle it was, they said they couldn t tell me because of data protection. I enjoy keeping them on the line while they waste their own time. Sometimes I tell them I m just getting the details and leave them hanging on. It stops them calling anyone else for a while until they get fed up.

I've been called by this number, and another - 023 8214 9860. Obviously a call centre somewhere, not legitimate. HMRC/someone with your name wanted in connection with a lawsuit/criminal activity etc etc. I've called them back, enjoyed winding them up just a little bit. It seems like they've now blocked me!
