Recieved call from man with thick accent. Couldn't understand him and he didn't seem to be able to respond to my repeated questions about why he was calling me or where he had got my number. Apologies about my previous message. I didn't check properly. The number that actually called me was 01244737049, NOT 01224737303.
Called stating they were from Currys PC World when I asked what the call was regarding they replied with "special offer promotion iPhone 14 pro for £35 a month." Currys don't do phone contracts as far as I'm aware. I said I'm not interested and they hung up.

This was a scammer who pretended to be from BT talking about illegal access to your broadband.!! That's rich!! Hacked my bank account and Amazon a/c. It took ages-up to 5 days to clear this mess up and it leaves a sour taste in your mouth. If someone had asked me last night if the death penalty was appropriate for scammers, I would have agreed. Now thinking about it castration without anaesthetic would be better.

Fraud SPAM SCAM Asain male calling to try to gain acces to my computer to fix BT broadband line which had been compromised. I do not have bt broadband - BT can not technically supply it on this old rural line. I get b/band via radio link frmo an idependent provider which has nothing to do with BT. Guy said he was from BT technical department! WHat rubbish. He even sent me a pin to agree computer access. I advised him he as a nasty little scammer adn then hung up.
