I had a missed call from this number on my mobile but no message left. Also similar number called me recently - 7011772226 and 7011772227, probably the same marketing company? don't wanna call back since I do not know the number - it could be just a robocaller testing if my number is responding, don't want to let them know my line is active... I get one or two calls from this number a day, this has been going on for weeks. Twice I've phoned back and they said they are Co-Op Bank. I said I'm not comfortable talking to them as they called me. They said they really need to speak to me but I need to go through security first, and that I can call from an alternative number if I'd like to. I have now blocked them.

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different, which is a common thing - they use a range of similar numbers. They are reported with different scope, but mostly call centres work for multiple clients. I tried to call the number back but no luck, number not in service - probably one-way gateway of the call centre not allowing inbound calls so you are not able to call them back. Said they were part of a government scheme regarding loft insulation we have installed & there were concerns it may be mouldy ( there is nothing wrong with it) but don’t panic they were offering a survey, ffree of charge of course. He was obviously reading from a script. When I started asking more questions he asked if I was the homeowner and I said no I’m their daughter & they hung up! Very suspicious to me. Warn all of your friends & family.
