SCAM Aggressive and rude repeat caller, claiming to be from an online trading platform. Using some outdated information and refusing the believe I wasn't who they thought I was. Quite funny really, as long as they don't manage to fool anyone.
I've had 6 different type of scam calls today already so didn't answer this one. No message left assume usual scams

It seems as though this could be a nuisance caller. My husband and I have both had calls from this number today, on our mobiles, while on holiday in France. It's slightly worrying, as we have many friends and relatives in the Manchester area. Our phones silence any unknown numbers but as no voicemail messages were left we are assuming the calls weren't important.
Called on our landline. Recorded message from Bank Security (didn't bother to say which bank). Apparently 2 transactions on my card (which one?!) £300 to Amazon and ..... I gave up at this point as it's obviously a scam. All our banks are based elsewhere so wouldn't phone from a local number and have mobile phones as first contact. Our number is recorded on Telephone Preference service but that doesn't seem to make any difference

Allegedly from Virgin Media calling at 07:45hrs with female call centre voice after delayed pickup. Clearly scam as they put the phone down after we asked (politely) if they knew what time it was in the morning.....
This number called 4 times on 2 consecutive days starting 11/01/2023. No message left on answer machine. Unable to block because Vonage indicates 'number invalid'. Number may be spoofed?

Called twice with no one speaking on the end apart with what sounded background household chatter.
Some nonsense about the care/warranty package for my tv, cooker and washing machine. Asked for company name and gave me two different names. Then when he asked for the year I was born, I told him 1900 and he hung up. who rang me 01784423424? Salvation Army are calling on phone apparently to hand out grants for energy bills etc asap- b4 March ends. Although initially we thought it was a scam so I even rang my pastor who assumed the same .Turns out they really seem to be legit and are asking for bank details on the phone as they only have a short time to give the grants of £100 each house to vulnerable peeps on PIP etc I rang their HQ from number on official site and it all seems sound so far.

Male on this number rattled off who he was too quick to understand who he was representing. Then with quite assertiveness started to ask me personal questions about my property. I refused to answer any of his questions and phone was disconnected.
