The call is probably not from London. These scam calls mostly originate from outside the UK, using spoofed numbers.

This number along with different 4 digit extension numbers on the end can call me up to 3 times a day. I finally answered one of them to tell them to stop ringing but it is automated and they dont say who they are. I ended the call as they ask you to press a number to proceed but I daren t!

Had a call from this number asking for our MD when i asked who was calling the lady said Rose Ford. When i asked the name of the company she asked if i was related ...a bit odd ...
Silent call
I received a letter from my union (Unite) saying someone would be calling me and then these calls started. The person who rang it back said the message says You were called by your Union so that all ties in. From memory of the letter, it was a survey on how they were doing
Apparently I have internet problems. I said "really?". Tha Asian male replies " yes really". Then they ended the call.
