Received 2 calls from this number today and both times, no one on the other end then phone went dead. Tried ringing the number back witholding my landline number and it said that the number wasn t recognised

Calling on behalf of local energy company he said. Sounded real but then realised it was a recording when I asked a question and he just carried on talking, with no reaction. Had previously answered when asked who he was calling on behalf of. Brummie accent.

Local call so answered, the line seemed to connect to another (non UK) phone so I hung up the call
texted me to inform me i was owed £3350 for PPI which I took out. However. i ve never took out any PPI !! I always thought it was illegal for a firm to say you definitely had won something when you hadnt.
