very aggressive and rude when person they wanted to speak to unavailable. Said they had spoken to him before (untrue). Young adult at home at the time answered phone and was asked for detailed information about person they wanted to speak to. Fortunately another adult nearby took over call. Upsetting and intrusive.

SCAM Must be a scam this number randomly called me today. Automated voice saying it was HM revenue & customs claiming that there was a fraud case in my name that I needed to press 1 to speak to the officer on the case. That if I didn't sort it then I'd be arrested shortly. Load of bollacks if you ask me didn't bother pressing 1 & hung up straight away soon as the automated voice got out what it was obviously programmed to say. iv had 2 calls from this Indian the first he didn t even say where he was from or even verify my name but he was desperately after my d.o.b, post code etc. after a couple of minutes I hung up and he rang straight back saying apologies for connection but I replied "oh that s my fault I needwd to sync to my pc so I can pun point your location to come and see you face 2 face you thieving con man" and before my next breath he was gone n hasn t rang back since. RESULT!!

I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). SCAM - the 3rd such similar text in as many days from different numbers. All had a link to a website that no doubt requests your bank details. In this case the email purported to be from HSBC informing me of a payment made on my card today. It had a helpful link to a site called cancel.banking-process, which funnily enough i did not click.
Company claiming to be called Consumer Advisory Group. Nothing comes up on a Google search. Assuming they are data harvesting. So have blocked the number.
