How it works is that they use an auto dialer and then when someone picks up it is allocated to a telemarketer but when one isnt available they just hang up. I know this because I asked the last person that phoned and had to explain as to why i was being hung up on when they want my business

ive had a message left on my phone asking me to call them urgently. with a case ref of 8778199 had no idea who or what it was for until now. But not in any debt so do not understand how they got my number and why they have called me
The people that call from this number claim to be a company called Primeleed, I'm not sure if there service is legit or not as they claim to be a company to enrol people into university. The calls are very annoying they ring me serval times a month.

SCAM claiming to be from Virgin Media, sounded like an international call. I asked how she got my number - said it was to do with misuse of my IP address. Rude and ‘bossy’ could easily scare a vulnerable person.
