Unknown number, received message from attempted delivery of a package (which I am not expecting) and wants me to call back to reschedule delivery.
01383851660 Came up as a butcher's business from Dumferline but turned out to be a spam caller offering me 40% off a mobile phone.

He was momentarily interested in sending it to my laptop until I told him it was a work issued laptop. The idea is to ask you to download remote desktop software to gain access to your computer, then attempt to bamboozle you with made up technical nonsense whilst in the background they copy your files and internet settings in the hope that yo have stored online banking credentials.

Rang me twice. When I picked up they said it was from Curry’s PC world, saying they had a promotions for phones and asked what phone I was using now. I said I wasn’t interested, and they hung up without saying anything else. It was quite hard to hear as their environment was loud, sounded kind of like a call centre in India. I’m not a Curry’s shopper so I doubt the legitimacy of this, probably a scam.
