Financial solutions" said she had "received a file about a minor car accident" I'd been in "a while back" and asked "is it sorted now" I said I hadn't been in an accident, she said "you've not had a car accident?" I said "no" she hung up. I'm registered with telephone preferencing services as do not contact, she did not have any details apart from a telephone number.

Only trustworthy in that it is a genuine number. However, after explaining the details of my delivery, the caller went into the extended warranty spiel. In these sort of circumstances NEVER go for it, even if it sounds like a good deal and there s nothing to pay up front. Take time to decide - you can almost always get a better deal elsewhere.

When I challenged that is a department not a company name, he said he was working on behalf of solicitors. I asked again details of exactly who he was working for an he hung up. Clearly cold calling to see if they can pick up people who have had accidents
