Wasn t quite sure how to categorise this one. I m 99% sure it was a bot that had set phrases in a normal , local accent. It called me about a non-existent car accident I d apparently had. I d definitely recommend blocking straight away.

19 Nov 2021 - Received call claiming to be carphone warehouse offering upgrade. When I asked if there was a number if I could call back once I'd checked current contract details, wouldn't offer one. Reply
They called and it was breathing and voices in background the hung up I called back it was an American woman voice message but that was as far as I got.

I have about 3 or 4 missed calls from these DAILY. As im at work, I cant answer but on the odd occasion I have, they just hang up. They never leave a voicemail and i'm getting a tad hacked off. If anyone can shed any light on whether they are genuine or not, they would be great, if not, they will remain a negative rating. Thanks :)

Said they were wanting information so they would tell me how much PPI I was owed. Wanted my borrowing history over 15 years. They asked me security questions but I kept saying I didn t know who there were and not happy to give out personal information. Conversation kept going in circles as they couldn t give me answers I wanted. Called me Mrs which has never been my status!
Same people and automated message (asking about debt) as the number 70. Each time I blocked number get a call from very similar number - 57, 70 and 89. All a shameless SCAM with no permission to call my number. Just Ignore, Block or Hang up.
