Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls - surveys, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8439418xxx range... People don't fall for it. Did someone answer any number of this range?

Woman calls my mobile whilst I m studying in the library and when I answer there is initially laughter in the background. Then goes on to say how I am owed PPI and lists banks paying out. After listening to the list I name my bank as Nationwide as it was the only one she didn t mention. Asks if I have a credit card and I state no. She then proceeds to ask me if I have had a loan (which I haven t). Was very persistent and persuasive. Would recommend not answering the phone

Same guy called back after a few minutes hoping to get my sister who already had spent 30 minutes talking to him. When I wouldn't put my sister on the phone he threatened to disconnect the internet, so I told him go ahead and he then ended the call.
