Text message claiming to be from HSBC. Said a payment had been set up in the name of K Adams with link if not recognised. I don t have an account with HSBC.

Called to tell me I had contacted them last year about interest in a funeral ! What the [email?protected]@k ! What if I had just gone through a death ! Luckily not since 2008 ! I m disgusted and they even used my first name.

Received an urgent sounding recorded message, claiming to be British Gas and asking us to call 01216290765. Spoke to BG, and they have confirmed that THIS IS A SCAM, as they would never contact customers in such a manner.

Didnt pick up this call but called at 715pm

Received automated call after attempting to make a payment with my card which was refused. Automated voicemail left this number to call. This number is for the Fraud line call centre in Sunderland. I was wary at first about giving details and voiced this but service advisor said if worried not legit to call number on the back of my card and will be put through to them (not pressured into giving any security info at all). I phoned them and told them straight not to phone my number gain, they don t know me, they asked me is this ******* my address blah blah. The company is called fidelity something. Nuisance calls and they need to pack it in.

Accident claims - I was involved in a car crash recently and it seems they got my details from somewhere.

I didn’t answer this call. This is the 3rd unsolicited call in the past 30 minutes. All from different numbers. Obviously registering with the TPS years ago makes no differe...

Told me I d applied for a loan, I hadn t! Refused to give his details or tell me where he had got my number from. He was very rude demanding I agreed to applying for a loan and that I wanted one! I asked to speak with manager stating I believed fraud was being commited in my name. He said he was the manager and promptly hung up on me. Don t answer calls from this number, not a pleasant experience.

I get this call sometimes 5 times a week, morning 9.30 and 1.00. Do not respond to anyone who calls you, that you do not know... There are plenty of scammers about.

Calling about a change to a hospital appointment. It s a legit number.

They sent a message asking to call them urgently, when I called them they refused to say what there company did unless I gave them my details, they said they had sent emails and letters, which I havent recived. Obviously I refused to give them any details what so ever and would advise you to do the same
