SCAM According to the area number its from the states. It rang on my landline & answer machine answered. They hung up & called again straight away. Again my answer machine answered. This time a lady voice with a foreign accent started saying hallo, hallo... Quite a few times before they hung up Don't know anybody in the states who has my number. Got to be a scam.

This number rang out on my phone three times before hanging up on 22/06/2022 .A similar number +94938528005 rang on my wife,s phone on the evening before and also hung up after three rings. It seems a bit suspicious to me.
SCAM - somebody called to ask to speak to my husband regarding his business account with British Gas. When I asked them to contact my husband's business directly they stated that the only number they had (which is our home number). They gave me a reference number and asked if my husband could call them. It all sounded very plausible - please be aware.
This company claims to be an Escrow service provider. IT IS NOT - check out the registration numbers with HMRC, FCA and Companies House. The “parent” has been dormant since 2019. Do a Whois lookup of the domain name - you will probably see that the website went live in the last few days / weeks

Missed call - I have had 3 calls in one day - all from Northern Island but all different numbers: 02893535035 and 02894106936 and 02877079126. I don't know anyone from this area and they have not left a message. I have never had calls from this area previously, let alone 3 on the same day.
01745-430426 No voice heard then line disconnects. Likely an automated call to test whether it's a voice line. If so, number will possibly be used for marketing or worse, scamming! Beware, this telephone number is considered dangerous!

The company are legit BUT beware the 'free' government funding claim - it is funded, but, from your adult learning grant which is means tested, they need all your income details etc and a £125 fee if you do not complete the course.

Ethnic gentalman offering Medic alarm personal system for free when challenged suddly came up as only £39. 00p per month for 1st 6 months (Not exactly free) try to confuse me with medical science I am a retired Paramedic so when I presented some possible medical situations using medical words the phone went silent. SCAM This is someone claiming to be someone from sky saying the router speed in my area was being checked and the engineers were making changes to speed it up. He asked me to install a support app on my phone so he could check and make changes. At no point did he use my name or go through any kind of ID process. This is a scam. BEWARE I called sky who confirmed they do not make calls like this.
