Unknown number called my mobile. The area code is for Helmsley in Yorkshire. I don’t know anyone there. I didn’t answer and they didn’t leave a message.
Someone called from this number purporting to be from Amazon, telling me that they were going to take £79 from my bank account.
Email from Budget Insurance about an old cancelled policy. They owed me a refund for unjustified charges. So NOT A SCAM. They didn't ask me for bank details I just said they were the same and that was that.
Must be a marketing call - phone ringing regularly but no-one there when I answer. Its a nuisance.

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range 17404659xx just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with pensions, accident claims = insurance telemarketing. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked it, but people pls did someone answer this number, same case or something
