Apparently I applied for life insurance, even though what I suffer from life insurance can't cover. This number called me up to ‘follow up’ after a fraud attempt on my Revolut card. I had actually contacted Revolut as I had another scam call the day before (definitely linked to this one) attempting for me to give a code to add my card to their Apple Pay. They were convincing, and said if I don’t give them answers to the security questions then they can’t block the payments. I believe they had my card details already, so if this has happened to you cancel your card for the account they seem to have and get

After looking into this more, turns out this number is linked to what is known as a locksmith scam. They will over charge and drill out your lock and damage your door instead of just lockpicking it. They are not on the MLA Approved Locksmiths. Although, if you are happy of being overcharged as hell, I am a victim of this scam, but they did come out within 15 minutes, gotta give them that.

Asked if I was over 50 to be eligible for a medical alert pendant. Said I wasn't and they went. Didn't know my name or that my husband is over 50 so very dodgy.
FraudFemale recorded voice with American accent (very amateurish) saying they were HMRC and that I had been reported for tax evasion. The case has been reported to the police and would be brought before a magistrate. "Press 1 to speak to a HMRC agent", Obviously I didn't. This country has some of the most advanced telecomms technology in the world. WHY can't the authoriries (Police, BT, the Regulator) take down these numbers?
