I answered the call on the second ring - sounded like an automated call - I heard the word Chinese but everything else was gobbledegook to me. I hung up as I assume its another scammer.
The caller said my Sky and tv equipment insurance had expired. Don’t have any. When l asked what he wanted me to do he said renew it. I asked again for whom he was calling - repeated the above. I have been called several times yesterday back to back from firstly a London number twice, then twice from private number and this one today. They all start by saying am I ****** when I ask who they are they mumble something then ask me if I own or rent my property. The person who called today was female and I could actually understand what she said, except for the initial mumble. The first two London calls where listed as suspected spam, however, some of calls in this category have been bona fide.

Called from "my bank security" telling me that my card (no ref to debit or credit )had been used for £300 to Amazon and over £1000 to an international transaction. Usual press 1, 2 etc. DO NOT RESPOND. This is a premium call no. and you will be charged upwards of £20 just for dialling and then a high charge per second. DO NOT ANSWER OR HANG UP.

Fraud Call purporting to be from BT re my broadband line. As I do not have any equipment or contracts with BT this was clearly a scam. Asian? female caller with background noise suggesting it was some sort of call centre.
