Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Also, my advice is not to take up credit or accept a credit cards from Vanquis Bank as they are extremely aggressive in their debt collection. Do the research and see how unhappy people ar

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls - scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8432632xxx range... People don't fall for it. Did someone answer any number of this range?

Posing as BT SCAM / SPAM Phone me three times and twice on the second day. Second time I was rude as I had already asked nicely not to phone me. They woke me from a nap as they kept ringing and ringing.. So later he decided to call me back. Talking to me in broken English and saying very indecent sexual things. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1792917xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI claims (also reclaim money from holidays) / insurance marketing / energy schemes. J

I have been called 3 times by this number over the last 2 weeks - often at highly inconvenient meal times. It appears to be cold calling fund raising drive linked with University of Birmingham (I am an alumnus). Very annoying and puts me off ever donating any dosh to the University (even if I had some to spare! I would like this to stop.
