SCAM claimed to be from UK DWP saying my National Insurance Number was being suspended and to press #1 on keypadto speak fo "advisor". I knew this was a scam as my ex parrner works for DWP that deals with such matters and this isn't how they operate. Pressed 1 and spoke to some numpty in what I think was Dehli. I told him he was a scammer and he got abusive telling me to F*** Off!
They phoned my wife about solar panels. Looked them up and this was the first thing I found. They're "visiting" us today. This smells. Will post later.

The third call today about debt management. Slightly different numbers every time. Added to my contacts under 'Arseholes3' I've already filled up 1 & 2 enough.
SCAM: I answered a call from this number and got an automated voice message saying I had placed an order ( Did not catch the name of the place I supposedly ordered from) and been charged £381.

Been a rash of these lately from different numbers. They ring and when you don t answer they send a text message from the number to say you missed a call from that number. Designed to appear as a normal phone notification, it s actually a text message from the caller. Far too dodgy to bother with. Suspect some kind of premium rate scam. Blocked obvs.

Fraud - claim to be from HMRC and there is a warrant for your arrest. They say don't hang up phone call otherwise they will record that you tried to run away from arrest and they will be waiting at your place of residence until you arrive to arrest you. With the pandemic, lots of people have had trouble paying tax, so it might seem real, but this is a scam. They will always give you a chance to work out a payment plan. Avoid, block.
