They said they were from HMRC. That I was due a refund due to my tax on a ppi claim. I have never claimed on a ppi form. Didn't pick up as an unknown number and our landline is ex-directory known only to 2 other people as it is used only for elderly relatives to call who do not have mobile phones. The fact that this number is not listed anywhere and we do not use it ourselves would tend to indicate it is a spam or pfishing call.
