They claimed to be lowell but when I got transferred to another colleague they both sounded like the same person so it is likely that Lowells number is being cloned by scammers which gives then legitimacy as when people search the number they will find it belongs to the lowell Because I have been in an iva that includes lowell for over a year lowell would know that and not contact me also the amount the caller said I owned was a lot less than I actually do which is a way that they can gain peoples details b
Got a text from this number after being told by tsb I would recieve it. Thought it was strange as it was a mobile number so I called tsb and they confirmed that it was their fraud department and its genuine

The number identifies the message as RoyalMail contacting me. The mispelling of Royal Mail is reason enough to be suspiciouss. The asked me to click a link to redirect me to a web page to arrange delivery of a parcel they couldn't deliver. I have nothing on order and I am sure Royal Mail would not mispell their own name or contact me from a mobile. 100% a scam if like my elderly mother, you now look these strange numbers up online before responding.
Automated call as soon as we answered the call was disconnencted. Apparrently a large number of such calls originate from this number. Why? It can only be bad news.

Claimed to be calling from 'MES' about life insurance. Smelled like a scam right from the off, so it mostly like is. Probably just best to hang up and ignore them. If it's important and a genuine issue they'll just write to you.

SCAM this number purported to be from PENSIONS Direct. It was a recorded message saying all advisors were busy. I expect we will get the scam part of the call next!

O clue.why so many scam calls.they left no messages. Oriental lady, very hesitant, claimed to be from Virgin Media about an internet connection. Used a local number to us, but unlikely to be a Virgin Media number. Rang off when told not a Virgin user. If a valid call would have had initial details available

Sure enough an Indian accented woman said "Hello how are you?" When I asked who she was, she said she was calling from she replied, Curry's PC World. After applying for a loan this company rang me multiple times a day i asked them to call me back after 6pm the first time as i was working and did want to see if they could help me but the I had 7 calls off the in 3 hours NOT one after the time I said I could answer, the following day the same company different number rang me 13 times between 10 am and 4:30 pm so i blocked those numbers, the following day i had a further 14 missed calls from this company off another 5 numbers. So far I am I up to 14 number

It was someone claiming to be my daughter saying she had lost her phone and to ring her back on the above number. Daughter was with me at the time she definitely hadn't lost her phone. So in my opinion it was a scam.
