They call and hang up! What s the point in calling and saying nothing? It s just to get callers stats up! Annoying and irritating

Have had 2 calls in less than 24 hours, Demanded to speak with my husband but when I said yesterday that he was not available but you can talk to me as it s my house too and I pay the bills despite them being in hubby s name....was then asked to confirm last 3 of my postcode which I was not comfortable with....when I said this to the gentleman he carried on repeating just give me last 3 characters of your postcode mam I am not a scammed I am from British Gas but I said no I m sorry until I receive a letter

WWW.NETWORKRESEARCH.CO.UK They work on behalf of several companies such as TSB, Homebase, British Gas , Lloyds and the AA. Thy probably call for feedback on the service you may have used, apparently it says on their site they are research and not sales so it is not classed as cold calling?? I've had a number of missed calls from them so I think I'll just answer and get it out of the way. This is Sky. Thanks to those on another forum that said this number is a scam, I didn t answer - now my phone line and broadband are cut off. Sky tried calling my landline and my mobile, but I ignored it - due to those here claiming it was a scam call. IT IS SKY! If you have any doubt, just phone them back on the number they show on your bill, or the Sky website.
