Informed them I did not and to remove my number, insistent I had contacted them for a call! Fraud - I received a text saying "Your parcel requires a £2.99 shipping fee, pay this now at royal.mail-transit.co.uk If not paid your parcel will be return." This was smart as I had last week mailed a parcel to Europe but I had it tracked so when I check my tracking number on the official royal mail website it said it had already been delivered.
Similar to other comments - trying to sell better telephone package, to (supposedly) reduce our business cost. They asked for an E-mail address, but I explained that we have not used that for 10-12 years - as we have converted to the much more professional "W-mail" system, which avoids spams and scams. They then immediately ended the call !

07905726731 using voice automated machine (woman with an American accent) stating they were from Amazon and I so called I owe them over £ 3 thousand pounds. It is not true. It is an ugly scam and I hope they get caught. Too much of this going on and it pisses me off.
This is an Avon call centre, trying to encourage their reps to order extra items. This in itself would be fine, but the number of times that they call is excessive in the extreme. They obviously use a system that calls a few numbers at a time and more often than not when I answer there is no one there. At certain times of the month I can get up to 10 calls a day. It is extremely annoying.
