SCAM saying HMRC have a tax fraud case against you. Very loud threatening automated message telling you you will be arrested soon if you don't press 1 to call them. Mobile number locator shows as being near industrial site off Mitton Road, Whalley near Blackburn. The intent is to scare vulnerable/older people into making contact, so as to gain access to their PC via remote access. HMRC are aware of this type of scam but I informed them anyway.
a badly written text that looks like spam with a yes/no reply option. Initially I ignored it but it was genuine fraud alert after all.I told them they should improve the text wording as it looks like phishing but If in doubt phone your bank.
Got call from 'Elite Legal services' regarding accident I had. Caller was polite enough and I can't be angry at him for doing his job, but at the end of the day this was an unsolicited call for a service I do not need. I explained my number is registered with TPS and his company should not be calling with unsolicited services and he at least said he would remove my number from their calling list, as to whether they have remains to be seen.
