This caller knew my name (but not my correct surname- so not bonafide) and claimed that they had my information because I had been involved in an accident and they were handling the claim. I have not. And when I told the man this, he changed the tack and claimed that someone else had given me as as a contact for their own claim. Nonsense. Caller asked for Managing Director. When asked about the subject of the call told me that she could only disclose it to the Managing Director. After much irritable discussion it transpired that Nova Technologies were sending a Tablet. That it was a present. For free. Very strange call. All the hallmarks of a nuisance.
