When they ring , they always get me out of bed, when i look at the number on the phone screen its very close to my area number so i answer , then there's a delay while it clicks and connects to a different part of the world and then a foreign sounding lady always mis- says my name with a long eee at the beginning and there is an office noise back ground . Ethnic gentalman offering Medic alarm personal system for free when challenged suddly came up as only £39. 00p per month for 1st 6 months (Not exactly free) try to confuse me with medical science I am a retired Paramedic so when I presented some possible medical situations using medical words the phone went silent. DO NOT fall for this as the system he was offering is free under NHS for vulnerable.

I received a phone call from +44 20 8097 5643 claiming I recently responded to a social media ad (I didn't). The scam company is 'Apollo.Expect' their website is https://apollo.expert/ and the caller claimed they were based in oxford and major cities across Europe. There is nothing online about the company so I immediately knew it was a scam. After reminding them they are in breach of GDPR the call immediately ended.

Call center for Learning Curve . They have your number if you have ever searched or done the starting process for one of the 'free Level 2 courses' with government funding. The company are legit BUT beware the 'free' government funding claim - it is funded, but, from your adult learning grant which is means tested, they need all your income details etc and a £125 fee if you do not complete the course.
One thing that stood out to me was their attention to detail. They took the time to fully understand my business needs and goals and worked closely with me throughout the entire development process to ensure that the final product met all of my requirements.

The organisation using this number are expert scammers. They already had my o2 mobile phone number, contract account number and asked me to confirm my address before offering a discount on my tariff. I was aware it was a scam and played dumb for a while until they sent me the text which would have given them full access to my account had I replied to it. After wasting their time for 10 minutes, I told them I knew they were scammers and they became very abusive, then misscalled my number around 20 times

Very odd. Lady said she was doing research on behalf of a US charity into healthcare and no personal data would be taken. Asked how she got my number and she said it was 'randomly generated' by a computer. If you speak, the line is detected as 'a voice line' and will be logged, a scammer will then call you later! They're trying to: flog you something; get you to sign up to something; indulge in a fake survey based on some government scheme and always quick to reassure you that they're not selling but simply: enquiring; surveying; etc. JUST HANG UP.
