Received a cold call purporting to be EE. The number had obviously been spoofed as it belongs to a London Cafe.
Picked up and they literally coughed down the phone at me and hung up! They really want to get a life!
It said dear Jan, You have an appointment on 13/01/23 at Homerton Hospital reply yes 1642 to confirm attendance, rebook 1642, and text cancel 1642 if the appointment is no longer needed. missed appointments cost NHS £160. Thanks for your support. It is the second time I received this message on my mobile to confirm my appointment. I will be phoning Homerton Hospital on the 9th of January 2023 referring to this and other things.

Uber taxi driver that apparently moonlights as a food delivery driver too. Doesn't confirm the taxi job but says you don't turn up, costing you some of the fare. Just Google the number to see how much of a prat he is! Crybaby!

Claimed to be from Council Housing Association calling about reported repairs needed to my property. I was confused and asked what he meant as I am not in a council house. Scam. tried to sell something, then when I said not interested, asking where they got my name and number, they changed what they were selling, becoming forceful. I kindly said that they should remove my details from their list and not call again, suggesting they were acting illegally, because I am listed in the TPS, then they slammed the phone down on me.

Had a call from this number this morning claiming to be Tesco and press 1 to confirm order of £99, press 2 for customer services. Didn't press anything and hung up. Called number back and it belongs to an elderly lady so someone is cloning her landline number. Tried to explain but she didn't understand.
I believe this is a scam. I let call go to answerphone, message said they were checking 2 charges, 1 from Amazon, 1 from international banking.

This number called with a pre-recorded message to say there was an arrest warrant out for me and to press 1. Sounded like an American voice. Clearly a scam to scare someone to press 1 and who knows what that mey lead to.
