SCAM / SPAM Bogus call purporting to be from HMRC. Apparently, HMRC are aware of it. Caller initially claimed to be calling from the University of Sussex, asking me to undertake an online research survey. Then they wanted our email address, and I enquired why was that necessary if the survey was online - all they needed to do was provide me with the web address. The caller later later confirmed they were an independent market research company , and continued to ask for my email address. Of course, I never provided it.

Just had a call from this number 01784437399, it rang until i pick up the phone then went dead
Just received a call from these chimps at 12.08 pm lunchtime, it even had a picture of the person calling, what a nerve. I use Mr. Number and True Contact on my mobile, the best 2 apps that I ve installed on my mobile, they warn you that it s a spam number calling and if possible, the name, whereabouts and if possible, the nature of the call and if it s suspected spam, it will cut them off. Saves me giving them a few choice words too.
Keep getting calls from this number and when I ring back no one answers and no answering message comes up. Don't know who this is. Can I get these calls stopped?
