You all need to be aware that this number is likely SPOOOFED. Many scammers are DUPLICATING numbers like Fife Council, so that you assume it s a legit call, should you not answer. That way, they cover their tracks and the number doesn t get blocked, i.e. they distance themselves from the scam. Some of you will have been called by the real Fife Council, others not. It s common. I got a call from Michelle Williams from CFS Group and she asked to speak with CEO. She claims it’s not a sales call but “a revenue tax and trade supply matter”. When I asked if she was in contact with the CEO before or if she has his contact details, she replied negatively saying “no, this was just brought to my attention”. She asked if the CEO can give her a call back.
