Received a call from this number very noisy background, asked if I had claimed my PPI refund which on average would be about £2200. I told the caller I did not have this insurance she said I didn't understand, I would have had it as the Banks hid the protection. I told her that it must have been detailed in paperwork for it to have been charged again she told me it wouldn't as it was hidden. This number just called me saying they from H M Customs & Revenue and either I or my solicitor called them back straight away. Thought it was a scam

Usual rubbish call asking me to confirm if I've had an accident that wasn't my fault. When I asked them to give me details, they become more aggressive and sternly ask you to confirm you have been in an accident until they finally hang up. Very irritating and very unprofessional. I've blocked the number.
Caller left message and was abusive using bad language. Then laughed. Presume a telemarketer who was chatting and didn?t realise call had gone to voicemail.

There is a post going round Facebook saying this number, purporting to be from Lloyds Bank Fraud division, is in fact scammers trying to get you to call them so they can get your private bank details from you. If in doubt, Google your bank's telephone number to get their fraud dept - don't rely on the telephone number in the letter. It may look legitimate, but it may not be.
