Said they were from HMRC and demanded that a payment be made there and then or the police will come to the house and make an arrest for tax evasion. Total scam, everyone beware!

This is a scam caller pretending to be from a Lyca phone provider offering cheap contracts, the company they are pretending to be are Mobiles.co.uk. They tried offering me a £35 contact for 24 months for a Samsung S23 ultra, which was too good to be true worked out at (£840.00). I was called today and it looks like a potential scam
Caller claimed they were calling because my Beko washing machine warranty had expired. I don t have a Beko washing machine. I gave this incorrect information to a unwanted cold call last week (Indian caller, UK Preference, claiming they were doing a survey). They have obviously passed my details to this company.
They called me once, I messaged to ask who it was and they never responded. I would ignore this number completely.
