When they do speak it's to talk about trying to get social landlord to do repairs on your property, but I suspect that's just their latest scam. Well this was interesting! 028 4067 1515 (Banbury) just rang, it is Saturday at 10:55am. I did a quick google while the phone was ringing and came up with the Anglers Rest pub in Banbridge. Weird (I have no connection to the area) but seemingly legit. When I picked up, the caller said he was calling from Currys/PCWorld with a cheap mobile phone offer. I said I don't need a new phone and he said thanks and ended the call. The whole "using a legit number" is hella sneaky!!

Pretending to be Evri driver Thomas who couldn’t find a safe place to leave my parcel. Looked plausible, but I had a similar one from DHL at the weekend.
SCAM. Said they from BT and that my broadband was not working. I know it was as I was online and told them, also mentioned that I thought the call was some sort of scam. Got told that my mindset needed sorting. Redialled the number and it’s not in service.

This is a number that is in a series of numbers from 0843566xxxx on rotation that I have been blocking for 3+ years. It’s clearly cold calling for insurance as I have answered a call however most calls ring 3 times before ending the call. Very difficult to track. And every time you block one number, another variation of the first 7 numbers appears a few days later. Very annoying. Very frustrating.
