Automated message supposedly 'Bank Security' regarding two recent payments made by card....1 to Amazon for £300 and the 2nd an International payment of £1000+. The usual crap is then given re pressing 1 or 2 depending on how you want to proceed. Complete load of rubbish. I get regular calls from a variety of numbers all exactly the same. They want shooting! Bloody nuisance.

Lady called in and claimed to be Anna from Amazon webservices. She asked to get contact data from one of my colleagues (who doesn't have Amazon as customer) to schedule a meeting with her boss. As we are located in Germany and my colleague doesn't have business in UK or with Amazon as customer I asked about the topic of this meeting. She claimed to not know that. Didn't give her mail address either. I guess her to call from a headhunter agency in disguise

Calls from 0115-677-5963 are a Scam! If ever you don't recognise the number, DON'T SPEAK & JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anyone and after a short pause the line goes dead, then congratulations you've just successfully escaped being scammed! This is because it was a computer calling trying to establish if your number was in use and if a voiceline. Fraud - tried to get me to respond to an email he sent during our call. He wanted me to take out my money from cryptocurrency and put it into an account allegedly held by BSL financial, as my trading company was money laundering and lost their licence to trade. He was very convincing but I have contacts who investigated for me quickly and advised me NOT to reply or answer any further calls.

I have had a call from this number as I do not know it I let the answering machine get it, as soon as the announcement started the caller hung up. When I dialled the number back using 141 to block my own number the call was not picked up. I suspect a call centre of some form possibly phishing. Also had a missed call from 02089022545 which I assume is the same outfit. If genuine reason for call, why not leave a message?

Said he was phoning about how we pay our energy bill. Asked for full name,address,DOB,to confirm my identity! I held back and did not supply details as I suspected the call could be a scam. He offered to send an email (knew my email address) and then phone back. I told him to call in an hour as I was busy. No email received and he has not called back. When I checked this number on 'who called me' it made me super-glad I didn't fall for it. This is the most sophisticated scam call I have received - BEWARE !!
