Automation voice asking me to 'press 1' to be connected to Western Union Transfer
I've had two calls from this number on my work mobile. I missed the first attempt but answered the second a few minutes ago. She claimed to be calling from Curry's PC World in London and gave a London post code. Strange then to have a number with an Edinburgh area code! It appears that it's trying to sell phones. Very noisy call centre and a very bad line indicating that the call was coming from overseas, probably India judging by the accent. Block the number so you're never bothered by it again.

I received an automated voice call from this number, telling me that they were from my Internet provider and my Internet services will be disconnected due to illegal use. They requested me to "press 1 to speak to an advisor" but I hung up. I then returned the call from my landline and received an automated reply telling me that nobody was available to take my call. Obviously a scam, so beware!

Some one called on my partner's mobile phone - a number that she shares very rarely if not at all. TPI apparently, just checking I wasn't getting too many sales calls! Then asked for me to check my credit card I have with them (?). It's up for renewal and they wanted to check I'd received my new one, which is a miracle in itself, because I have none. Sounded like a call centre, man had strong Indian accent. Hung up

Very elaborate work scam. This phone number will text saying there is a position in a US company to optimise apps. The website seems legit but once you do all they say. They will ask you to send them money to unblock the cryptomomey. Dont do it and report it.
