this number is a scammer<i recieve an email saying she's from USA but when i search the number it was registered from UK.
This number is being used by a Scammer / hacker gang pretending to be microsoft and asking you to give them access to your computer DO NOT follow their instructions . They pretend that hackers have your details and are using your online profile to do illegal things MICROSOFT would not call you
SPAM or worse, called twice loud callcenter noise and second time I was asked if this is the company they called, I stupidly said yes and they hung up - we need to get rid of all these scammers...
Said they was citizens advice twice in the call and my application is being approved i asked what application as ive not applied for one. When i questioned him about it he could only give my name nothing else. I then saod citizens advice now call random calls he then said he works for citizens governments advice. So i asked him why he said something different, he posited he worked for this company. I said the company name doesn't make any sense. He then hung up the phone

They do announce themselves to contact customers on behalf of EON and are not actually EON.I am sure eon knows about it despite they deny they use such call centres. SCAM- 0128 240981 I've been bombarded by calls from similar 0128 numbers for past couple weeks. I finally answered this one today (28th October) and it was a lady with an oversees accent with echoey background noise saying she was from the National Debtline. She knew my name and kept asking me to confirm it but I didn't and I kept asking who she was then hung up when she said she was from the debtline. They don't cold call you and it's a totally different number so I blocked it.
